New Year, New Decade, New Promises
On every new year, we celebrate and welcome a new year with hope and positive looks that the new year will be a success.
Some make every year new resolutions, new promises, but most of these people never actually fulfill these. Interestingly enough, most people who did some major breakthroughs just in one year did not make these as a ‘New Year’s Resolution’. How come?
Procrastinating.
Procrastinating is probably the reason why there isn’t some major breakthrough in medicine for deadly illnesses and same reason the “New Technology” that isn’t out yet, wasn’t discovered yet.
People tend to say “I need time to think” when in reality they are just procrastinating. Every one of us suffers from procrastinating, and the very few who strongly fight it are billionaires by now.
There’s a famous quote:
If there’s a will, there’s a way.
Unknown
Many question this by saying. Hey, I truly want to be rich, how come it hadn’t happened yet?
The answer for that is, that you have many many things that you want. You want to sleep 8+ hours every night, you want to spend time with family, you don’t want to work on weekends, you want to take twice a year vacation.. and.. you also want to be rich.
These…. does not go together.
If you have one goal, work towards that goal and forget from rest, sleep, family and your personal life until you reached your goal. And trust me, if you will work on that phase, you will reach your goal.
So when I ask you what your new year’s resolution is, you should tell me, none. Because, you should be already working on this, don’t procrastinate you’ll start working on it in 2020, because you and I know, if you are taking that route it’s not going to happen.
It’s never to late to start working on that idea you had in the back of mind. It’s never to late to tell your friends, hey, I’ll be busy with something important to me instead of playing video games.
Finally, it’s never to late to reach your goal.
